Trump 2024 National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt joins Fox Across America With guest host Jason Chaffetz to explain why her interview with CNN’s Kasie Hunt came to an abrupt end on Monday morning.
“I was on CNN This Morning talking with Kasie, like I am with you now, about the debate on Thursday night. And I simply pointed out that the fact that President Trump is going on CNN, a known hostile environment, to bring to the American voter shows his commitment to doing so. And Kasie didn’t like that very much, so she challenged me on what I meant. And I simply repeated what her colleague and the debate moderator on Thursday night has said in the past. Jake Tapper has a history of anti-Trump lies. He has frequently compared President Trump to Adolf Hitler, which is disgusting. He has said that Donald Trump’s presidency was a nightmare for the United States of America. Jake Tapper has repeatedly cut President Trump off in the middle of his speeches, saying enough is enough. You know, he clearly has an intolerance for President Trump, a bias against him. That’s clear to anyone who’s being honest. But Kasie Hunt didn’t like that I was just simply repeating Jake Tapper own words. And not only did they cut off my mic, they criticized me the entire show, which just shows that, exactly what we’re saying is true, that CNN is not a friendly Trump network, and it won’t be friendly to him on Thursday night.”
