“Completely Uncharted Territory”: Former President Trump Found Guilty On All Counts

Former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in his New York hush money trial, making him the first ever former president of the United States to be convicted of a crime. With each count carrying a maximum sentence of 4 years, former President Trump faces a maximum sentence of 136 years. Former prosecutor and former Trump lawyer, James Trusty, joins the Rundown to explain the flashpoints of the case likely to resurface during the appeal. He walks through why he believes the judge “put his finger on the scale” with his jury instructions, the politicization of the case, and the challenges facing the former President’s appeal. Later, they discuss the other Trump legal cases and the political ramifications for the 2024 presidential election.

An increasing number of American allies are calling for restrictions on how Ukraine uses its weapons to fight against Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has requested that assets supplied by the United States be used to strike Russian military targets inside its borders. However, the Biden administration prohibits this out of fear that it could inadvertently widen the conflict. FOX News foreign correspondent Alex Hogan joins to discuss why the U.S. is not likely to lift the restrictions and where Western allies’ support for Ukraine stands now.
