“THE JIG IS UP”: Rep. Kat Cammack Says Lobbyists Are “Descending on Capitol Hill” to Block TikTok Bill

Rep. Kat Cammack, congresswoman for FL-03, small business owner, and graduate of the US Naval War College, joined the Guy Benson Show today to discuss the latest on the bipartisan bill to ban TikTok. Internal battles are ensuing over the possible ban, with many voicing concerns over free speech. Rep. Rep. Cammack had this to say on the opposition to block the new TikTok bill:

“Everyone is claiming that there’s a First Amendment angle here, read the bill like, I’m sorry, like, get off of TikTok and read the bill. Read the bill because what it is saying is that we need to divest a mobile application, and it doesn’t even necessarily single out TikTok. But of course, that always seems to be the face of it. You have to divest from a foreign adversary, which is defined in statute.”
