Gen-Z at Risk for “Blindness Epidemic” Due to Device Addiction

Young people are staring down the barrel of a “blindness epidemic” from staring at their phones!

As the cool kids say, it’s time to get outside and touch grass!

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

It’s no secret young people are addicted to their phones and the side effects that come with that sad reality are numerous.

Here is another one, vision impairments like myopia.

A world-renowned eye surgeon warns that due to young people who stay indoors on their devices rather than outside in the sunlight, they are setting themselves up for a whole host of eye problems.

In the last 3 decades, the UK has experienced a 46% jump in nearsightedness.

In the US, that rate among teenagers rate jumped by 59%.

Those numbers are staggering.

This dangerous trend is occurring because without adequate exposure to sunlight during puberty, dopamine levels drop and this impacts eye health and development.

Isn’t it sad that our young people are experiencing health problems that are completely avoidable and induced by the inability to detach from devices?!

Get outside, touch grass!
