Cooke had this to say on Biden’s comments claiming he’s done everything he can do secure the border:

“It’s a preposterous lie. And I think everyone watching knows it’s a lie. He has to know. Joe Biden has to know that the politics of this have become disastrous for him. I believe his approval rating on the border is something like 16%. And the reason for that is that he very deliberately and willfully and publicly came into office and rescinded everything that Donald Trump had done to secure the border.“
