Gov. Jared Polis on Legalizing Marijuana for Medical Use: “The DEA Needs To Act”

Jared Polis, Governor of the great state of Colorado, joined guest host Ross Kaminsky on the Guy Benson Show to talk about the push to legalize marijuana federally for medicinal use for adults. Polis argues that the legalization of marijuana is simply a recognition of facts released by objective governmental agencies, and that the DEA needs to catch up with the data. Polis and Kaminsky also discuss the push in Colorado to develop public transit. Polis also addresses the housing costs in Colorado, and you can listen to the full interview below.

Polis had this to say on the legalization of marijuana for medical use:

“I mean, even even opioids have a therapeutic use under prescription. Obviously, marijuana is not nearly as dangerous or addictive as opioids. So it’s simply a recognition of the scientific fact. So coming out of the fact based agency, that’s the recommendation. But the DEA needs to act.”
