Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) delivered a passionate speech before the Senate denouncing and warning against a sharp rise in anti-Semitic sentiment and hate crimes in America. Senator Schumer, the highest-ranking elected Jewish official in the United States, spoke for forty five minutes in an intense time of fragile ceasefires and hostage negotiations about his support of a two-state solution and need to give Israel aid. Senator Schumer also condemned any acts of violence against the Muslim community.
