President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping met face to face for the first time in a year this week at the APEC summit in California. They spoke for hours and following the meeting the two leaders say they are both willing to cooperate and talk more. Biden and Xi shook hands and smiled for cameras but what real progress, if any, was made to mend a relationship that has been rocky for decades?
