Young People Scoff at Marriage
Young people don’t wanna get hitched anymore and hint hint..Bidenomics might be a factor!
I’m Tomi Lahren, find out next.
I’ve been married for nearly 10 months now and I highly recommend it. BUT getting married, settling down, and having kids might soon be a tradition of the past.
According to a new survey, 85% of young adults don’t think you need to get married to have a fulfilling and committed relationship.
And get this, the study found that more women at 52%- than men at 41%- have this view of marriage!
1 in 6 respondents say they have no plans to get married in the future! Turns out the young generation isn’t really into the notion of toting a ball and chain around for the rest of their lives. But that’s not the only factor.
The survey goes on to report that finances- or lack thereof- might play a role in that answer. Nearly three in four millennials and Gen Zers say it’s just too expensive to tie the knot in today’s economy and can you blame them?
The average US wedding costs around $30,000 dollars and in Biden’s America that’s just out of budget for a lot of couples and their families. Food and shelter might take precedence over a ceremony and boozy reception and that’s fair!
So all roads- once again- lead back to Joe Brandon!
