Co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend” Rachel Campos-Duffy joins Fox Across America With guest host Sean Duffy to call out HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines for their partnership with Target, amid the controversy involving some of the retailer’s Pride month merchandise.
“Chip and Joanna are such an interesting couple. They have the show, Fixer Upper. They actually have a new network that they’ve spawned from that. And of course, they have several businesses. They have a restaurant. They have a store, huge complex of stores and eateries in their town of Waco, and they have a product line in Target. And they have been in Target for quite a while. A lot of people have been asking, you know, what are Chip and Joanna going to say about the fact that, it’s not just that they’re putting pride stuff in the stores, Target’s been doing that for a long time. It’s just that it’s kind of gone into overdrive. It’s moved from sort of like the adult and teen section into the children’s, like infant section where there’s a whole line of like onesies for pride. But that’s not even it. It’s that the fashion designer that they’ve partnered with, on top of all of that and moving into the kids section is that that fashion designer is a self-described tans Satanist. Who knew that that was even a thing? But it is. And they deliberately partnered with this person. It wasn’t like they just found out that he was a trans Satanist. He is, which is why he’s promoting tuckit bathing suits for Target, among other kind of really questionable logos on his fashion items in the stores, T-shirts and so forth. And so, you know, the question is, what will Chip and Joanna think? They’re such a wholesome brand of such a wholesome, you know, couple and family. Why have they not said anything?”
