The United States is going back to the moon.
NASA unveiled the team of astronauts this past week who will embark on the Artemis II mission.
The mission marks the first time in 50 years that NASA will send humans to the moon. The goal is to one day establish a long-term lunar base and pave the way to send astronauts to Mars.
Former NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine joined the Rundown’s Chris Foster to discuss what the Artemis program.
Bridenstine discussed the value of space exploration and addressed concerns about the space program’s costs, and the progress made by NASA over the last 50 years.
