Brian Brenberg: Odds Are The Economy Will Enter Into A Recession This Year

Econ Professor at The King’s College in New York City and co-host of “The Big Money Show” on Fox Business Brian Brenberg joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on whether the U.S. economy is going to slip into a recession in 2023.

“So odds are you’re probably going to have a recession this year. I think that’s right. I mean, I think the pessimism is well-founded. But the point everybody’s missing is, even if we don’t have a recession, you know what you’re going to get? Zero growth. Like maybe point .1 percent growth. So if you missed the technical recession, it’s not like you’re getting a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You’re getting a terrible economy that barely limped its way through and found a way to stay out of technical recession. But that’s not a consolation prize.”
