Rep. Scott Fitzgerald: Republicans Will Try And Get Some Answers For Americans In The Next Congress

Wisconsin Republican Congressman Scott Fitzgerald joins Fox Across America With guest host Harry Hurley to discuss some of the items on the GOP agenda once they officially take back control of the House next week.

“Looking forward, I am excited. I’m excited about, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, with the leadership of Jim Jordan, trying to create an environment where hopefully we can get some answers for the American public that we have been craving for some time, being told that this stuff doesn’t matter. And don’t believe it’s going to have an impact on people’s faith in government, those types of foolish statements that are being made. And I believe that we’re up to the task. I know there’s going to be things in the area of policy that we’re going to want to tackle as well. But, you know, like they said, we can do both things. We can chew gum and walk at the same time. So I I’m very hopeful that all of this will come together very quickly after January 3rd.”

Rep. Fitzgerald also tells Harry why he still expects California Congressman Kevin McCarthy to become the next House Speaker, despite objections from certain GOP members. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
