CA County Talks SECESSION!
The fifth largest county in the Golden State doesn’t want to be part of California anymore and it’s gettin’ serious!
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
The geography, weather and overall aesthetics of California are unbeatable but when you add in the taxes, homelessness, policies and leaders well…it makes being part of the state a lot less appealing.
But California’s fifth largest county is doing something about it. Residents of San Bernardino County have voted to research the possibility of secession from the state.
Yes, this is legit! Voters approved a ballot measure directing officials to look into the legal ramifications of seceding from the state.
That’s right, this more conservative county east of LA wants to become its own state!
Now it’s a long shot because even if voters approved secession, the California state legislature and Congress would have to sign off and that’s highly unlikely.
But I gotta give it to San Bernardino, they are taking their “sick and tired of it” attitudes and taking action!
California is unaffordable for the middle class and while a whole new state within a state is a pipe dream, it’s worth dreaming anyway!
Good luck, San Bernardino!
