American Students Get Rough Report Card

The report card is in and it’s not looking good for American students.

Two decades of academic progress in reading and math among 4th & 8th graders has been SQUASHED thanks to COVID pandemic policies.

According to “The Nation’s Report Card” scores for American students in this grade range are at their LOWEST in nearly 20 years AND no state saw a statistically significant increase in any category.

This isn’t just bad news, this is unacceptable in every way.

But how did we get here? Well look no further than nearly 2 years of forced remote learning, masks, social, academic and extra-curricular setbacks…

These shocking scores should also serve as a wake-up call to parents! You NEED to get involved in your child’s education, you NEED to push for voucher and school choice programs and you NEED to lobby against administrators and school board reps who are asleep at the wheel or more beholden to teacher’s unions than their own students!

Children are the future and if our young people aren’t even proficient in reading, writing and math, how the heck are they gonna run this country?

The days of hands-off parenting NEED to end. Your children and our country DEPEND on it!
