Martha MacCallum On How London Is Reacting To The Death Of Queen Elizabeth: ‘There Is A Lot Of Emotion’

Martha MacCallum, executive editor & anchor of The Story 3pm ET & Fox News Politics co-anchor joined the Guy Benson Show LIVE from London as the world reacts to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Martha described the reaction throughout London saying,

“Well, there’s there is a lot of emotion. I’ve seen people, you know, sort of teary in the streets as they’re putting their flowers down. I think they thought of her as sort of a grandmother, as kind of a person, a presence in their life throughout the course of their entire lives. And that is is difficult to sort of it’s, when something like this happens, it’s like an era in your life is over. Also of that constant. The person that you always thought of as being in the background for you. But I also think that people are celebrating her life. She was 96 years old. And I think that the Jubilee was such a great event because she got to sort of see this outpouring. It’s almost like she went to her own funeral. In a strange way.”
