Tom Homan: Governor Abbott Has Started A National Conversation About Illegal Immigration
Former Acting ICE Director and Visiting Fellow at The Heritage Foundation Tom Homan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he fully supports Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s move to send busloads of migrants who crossed the U.S. Southern border illegally to New York City, Washington D.C. and Chicago.
“He started a national conversation. A lot of country wasn’t even talking about illegal immigration. Look, I think he’s calling out these sanctuary cities for what they really are. They’re political. They want to be a sanctuary city for political reasons, but they’re actually sent these illegal aliens they’re having a fit. But they’ll protect criminal aliens and won’t let ICE in their jails because they’re sanctuary cities. Now he’s sending them to Chicago. Now, if Governor Abbott’s listening, go to Philly and go to Boston. That’s your five biggest sanctuary cities. So let’s have it. I think he ought to continue doing it. I think he should be the Secretary of Homeland Security because he’s done more to secure our border than anybody in this administration.”
Plus, Tom talks about how we cannot take the Biden administration seriously on combating the fentanyl crisis until they close the U.S. Mexico border. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
