First Lady Jill Biden put her foot in her mouth, comparing Latinos to- I kid you not- breakfast tacos.

Jill Biden is following in the gaffe steps of her husband with this latest flub.

In a speech to the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights organization, she said Texas Latinos are as unique as breakfast tacos and as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx.

She also mispronounced “bodega,” by the way.

Something tells me that comment isn’t going to help Biden make inroads with Hispanic supporters he’s lost in the last couple years.

Jill apologized via her spokesman for her bizarre message, but is that enough?

Look, was First Lady Biden trying to be rude, racist, or insensitive? I don’t think so. Was it a very weird and tone-deaf comment to make? Absolutely.

And I can’t help but wonder if the Left would be as forgiving if Melania Trump had made the same comparison….

Lucky for Jill, I’m sure her husband will out-gaffe her any day now and take the heat off.
