“Definitely a red flag, but not, not surprising guy. One of the things that you and I have talked about on air and off air multiple times is that this virus has demonstrated what’s called Neurotropeism, the ability to affect the central nervous system when people joke around, Oh, I lost my sense of smell. That’s not insignificant. That means your central nervous system is affected. So this study quickly looked at people who had MRI before a COVID diagnosis and those who had it after their COVID diagnosis, as well as the control group of those who didn’t have a COVID diagnosis. And it demonstrated that there were more changes in the gray area on people who had a COVID diagnosis, and interestingly, it centered around the olfactory nerve, which is the nerve that is that is responsible for our sense of smell. So there needs more research, but this is not surprising, and that has been. One of the biggest concerns for me is the Neurotrope ism, the ability to affect the nervous system when it comes to SARS-CoV-2. I’ve always said this virus is tricky and should not be taken lightly.”
