Rep. Jim Jordan: Pandemic Restrictions Are All About Control, Not The Science
Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he feels many of the restrictions put in place to protect people from COVID-19 are not actually based in science.
Over the past two years, many Democratic politicians and health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci have claimed pandemic-era rules such as mask mandates were enacted to keep Americans safe. Rep. Jordan believes science is no longer the driving factor behind these types of decisions.
“Think about this. 33,000 people work at the NIH and CDC. Those two agencies have a combined budget of 56 billion dollars. Guess how many studies they’ve done on natural immunity? Zero. Because they don’t want to know the answer. So it’s certainly not about the science. Every other country that doesn’t have the resources the United States of America has seems to be able to do a study on natural immunity. It’s stronger and more robust than if you get the vaccine. They can’t do it? All they can do is Fauci go on TV and tell us one thing that a few months later turns out to be false. It’s all about the power and control. It’s not about the science.
Rep. Jordan also reacts to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s strange justification for why he was not wearing a mask while taking a picture with Magic Johnson at the NFC Championship Game.
Plus, New Jersey Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew stops by to talk about why cracking down on gun ownership will not help decrease violent crime rates.
