Andrew McCarthy On Biden’s Plan To Name A Black Woman To The Supreme Court

Andrew McCarthy, Fox News Contributor, Former Assistant U.S. Attorney For Southern District Of NY joined the Guy Benson Show to react to Biden’s plan to name a black woman to the Supreme Court.

McCarthy weighed in saying,

“Guy I really think that this goes to something that’s been a problem for half a century, which is that Joe Biden has very poor judgment. The way he did this was utterly inept, and it ultimately will hurt his nominee, no matter who she is. As much as it’s roiled the country with this controversy, which is utterly unnecessary, I mean, let’s just, you know, to take both the practical and the political together, and let’s try to take race out of it for a second. I know that that’s impossible to do the way the dialog goes in this country, and I’m not saying it’s impossible for you. I’m just saying in general in the world we live in, but nobody sight unseen and all other things being equal would possibly say a process in which the decision-maker having to make a choice to pick the best person for a job, said, I’m only going to look at seven percent of the applicant pool. Nobody with common sense would say that was a sensible way to go about finding the best person.”
