Charles McBee: What Really Went Down During VP Harris’ Interview With Charlamagne Tha God

Comedian and Head Writer for “Tha God’s Honest Truth” Charles McBee joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share some of the inner workings of Vice President Harris’ heated interview with Charlamagne Tha God. During their conversation, Charlamagne pressed the Vice President on who the ‘real’ leader of the U.S. currently is, President Biden or West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin.

According to Charles, Charlamagne finally got Harris to answer some of his questions by being persistent and not backing down.

“So we only had a certain amount of time with her. We had a limited amount of time with her. This is what happened, and this is what politicians do. She’s very politician-y. So, we asked the first question. You see the whole interview, the first question was not hard, not crazy. We only had 10 minutes with her, she took seven minutes to filibuster on the first question. And so, it was like by the time we got to the second question, she was like alright I’ll filibuster on this for another six minutes and I’ll be out of here. But the thing is, Charlamagne doesn’t care about your staff telling us that we only have a certain amount of time. So he just kept asking the questions, and the questions kept getting more poignant and more harder and more direct until he got to the nook and cranny of it. And that’s when Symone came charging in, and they were like, ‘oh malfunction. I can’t hear you. We can’t hear you.’ We knew it was nonsense.”

Jimmy and Charles go on to discuss how Charlamagne is not afraid to hold someone’s feet to the fire, even if he happens to agree with that person’s political views.
