Evening Edition: Some Are Left Behind As The Taliban Takes Control
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that there are about one hundred Americans that remain in Afghanistan and another number of Afghan allies that are seeking an exit. It is estimated that nearly a half a million Afghans will want to cross nearby borders to be freed from Taliban rule. FOX’s Gurnal Scott speaks to FOX’s Trey Yingst, in Doha, Qatar, about the hardships faced by those that escaped Afghanistan and those still trying to now that U.S. forces are gone.
