On Thursday, the Supreme Court upheld voting laws in Arizona that restrict ballot harvesting and the submission of provisional ballots outside of one’s home precinct. Democrats said the restrictions in question were ‘racist’ and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called it, “one of the darkest days in all of the Supreme Court’s history.” Republicans are praising the decision and say it will help restore confidence in our elections. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who was named in the case and argued it before the Supreme Court, discusses the significance of the ruling and how it could impact the nationwide debate over election reform. He also discusses the honor he felt arguing before the Court…and winning.
