Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY): VP Harris Finally Acknowledged The Trip To The Border Is Dangerous

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) said he was glad Vice President Harris encouraged migrants to not try to go to the U.S-Mexico border and that doing so would be dangerous.

“We have seen unprecedented numbers of migrants coming across the border since January 20th when President Biden took office, more than one hundred and seventy three thousand migrants in March, and more than one hundred seventy eight thousand in April. That’s up about 100,000 per month from the year before. Now the Biden administration does not, I believe, want to acknowledge the fact that their policies specifically created this additional demand for illegal migrants crossing the border. And one way to deal with it is to deny it and so I think that’s what’s happening.”

“We have seen examples, from Arizona to Virginia, of illegal migrants being put up in hotel rooms at the government’s expense while they’re being processed. So they’re spreading throughout the interior of the country. There’s so many that it’s impossible to deal with them in a manner that doesn’t cost inordinate amounts of money. And so this is something the Biden administration needs to tackle head on. Vice President Harris has made yesterday some comments that are at least encouraging, to the point that she has spoken in Guatemala about not making the dangerous trip to the US-Mexico border. I’m glad that she’s finally acknowledging that the trip is dangerous, but it’s taken too long for her to make those statements. And shockingly, she’s getting pushback from the extreme left in her own party.”
