Ben Domenech: When It Comes To Crossing The Border, “America Is Not A Water Park”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Ben Domenech, host of “The Ben Domenech Podcast” and a Fox News Contributor, talks about how the cartels in Mexico have more control over who crosses the border than the United States does, right now to the issuing of wristbands.

“When Joe Biden says we’re not going to be doing deportations in the first 100 days, then the big question that I have is how quickly can I make sure that I get there within the first hundred days? That’s the sort of thing that we see happen time and time again. That’s assuming that they’re not even paying attention to American news or anything of the pronouncements that are coming from the left. We see it in foreign policy. We see it on the border issues. We see it in so many respects. And it’s really just a very backwards and ingrained way to approach this issue, which is complex, but is also one that has some really clarifying moments to it. The real problem here is that the cartels on the southern side of the border have a better lock down on the border than our own government. If people try to cross without paying the right people, then they’re going to get shot or they’re going to have ramifications. That’s why they have these wristbands, as we reported and Reuters confirmed after we did, that are stamped with a number and associated with a particular cartel to indicate this person has paid in order to get across, and that’s something that every American should be just aghast at. America is not a water park. So unfortunately, that’s the level of sophistication that the cartels have now. And we just are completely unprepared and do not have the resources to deal with it.”
