Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL): “I Do Not Believe Nikki Haley Has The Right Vision For The Republican Party”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) discusses why Nikki Haley should not be considered a leading candidate in the 2024 Presidential races and who he thinks is the true leader of the Republican Party right now.
“I do not believe Nikki Haley has the right vision for the Republican Party moving forward. Nikki Haley believes we’re at our best when we’re in an extended state of low-yield war in different places around the globe. I think that sort of the way she’s tried to benefit from Trumpism while at the same time picking her spots to be critical, it just looks so tactical and conniving. And I think that is going to be a turnoff to a lot of voters, both who like the President and even those who don’t like the President. So I know there’s a lot of enthusiasm with her base, which are Washington print reporters and the media, around her potential candidacy. But I don’t think you’re going to see that kind of enthusiasm around the country. You know who the spiritual leader is of the Republican Party right now in America? Ron freaking DeSantis. It’s DeSantis, because DeSantis is actually showing how the America First, pro-citizen agenda works in a dynamic, diverse state like Florida.”
