Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC): “I’m Sick And Tired” AOC “Has A Tendency To Politicize Literally Everything”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) responded to the criticisms she received from AOC throughout the day regarding AOC’s video about the events at the Capitol.
“She doesn’t know my story. And I’ve told my story. And she and I have very similar life experiences. I’ve told my rape story from the House floor in South Carolina when I was a state House Rep. I do identify with victims in so many ways because I’ve been a victim, but I’m a survivor. I deal in facts and reality. And the fact is there were no insurrectionists, no violent rioters that were in the halls of the Cannon Office Building that day. Everyone was terrified. We were worried. It was a harrowing, life threatening experience. No one questions that. But when we get into the details and the facts and let that slide, that’s where where I take issue. We need to be honest or people tell the truth and deal in reality and facts. And she has a tendency to politicize literally everything. And I’m sick and tired. I’m sick and tired of that. I’m a single working mom. I work full time. My kids haven’t been to school in a year. And we’ve got Americans who are working hard trying to put food on the table, gas in their tanks, in their cars, struggling to make it. And we have so much more to do for the American people. Yet we’re sidetracked by this Jerry Springer Show sideshow that we see and we’ve got fringe issues on both sides of the parties. And I acknowledge that. But this has got to stop and we’ve got to deal with reality.”
