FOX News Rundown Extra: Lockdowns, Mask Mandates … And Your Rights

As coronavirus cases, hospitalization and deaths reach record levels nationwide, health officials have been encouraging Americans to take even more precautions to help slow the spread. Some governors and local leaders have gone even further by enforcing restrictions similar to what we saw back in the spring when parts of the country were partially shutdown.

Many people are unhappy with the curfews, capacity limitations and mask mandates being enacted to cope with this new waves of Covid-19.

Recently on the FOX NEWS Rundown, host Lisa Brady spoke with former assistant U.S. attorney and Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy to discuss some of these new government restrictions and whether or not they had any teeth.

McCarthy explained which laws could be effectively enforced and which laws were fruitless or even unconstitutional.

The discussion with Andrew McCarthy was too long and we could not include all of it in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear more of McCarthy’s legal take on the ongoing debate over lockdowns, mandates and other coronavirus restrictions.
