Josh Kraushaar Breaks Down Tight Senate Races

Josh Kraushaar, Politics Editor at National Journal & Fox News Radio Political Analyst spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson about the several tight senate races that will determine the balance of power in congress. Kraushaar when looking at the senate race in Kansas said,

“Follow the money. The Republicans are spending in Kansas. So you don’t you don’t spend valuable millions of dollars that could go to Susan Collins or Martha McSally and and put it in Kansas if you don’t think there’s a concern there. That said, one of the reasons they’re concerned is that their nominee, Congressman Marshall, has basically done a horrible job of raising money. So he is basically, you know, almost out of money under the Democrat label to bankroll a lot of campaign cash during the primaries. So there is a big financial disadvantage, which I think outside groups are trying to supplement. I would not put Kansas in the same category as these other second tier races. I think Republicans. That state has not voted for a Democrat to the Senate since 1932. I think that streak is going to continue even even in a tough political environment.”
