Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), spoke to Brian Kilmeade about President Trump and republicans pushing to confirm a new Supreme Court Justice after the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Graham said he believes republicans have enough votes to confirm a new Justice. Graham pushed back on democrats who say there should not be a vote for a new Justice this close to an election because republicans would not allow a vote on President Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, to replace Justice Scalia. Graham says after the treatment of Brett Kavanaugh during his hearings, the rules have changed for him and believes if the shoe was on the other foot, the democrats would move to confirm a new Justice in a New York minute.
Senator Graham also addressed his close re-election campaign against Jaime Harrison, who is in a dead heat with Graham in the latest Quinnipiac poll.
