Sarah Huckabee Sanders: I Wish There Were More “Good Reporters” In The White House Briefing Room
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders talks about her new book Speaking For Myself and what she thinks about the reporters she faced in the White House Briefing Room.
“I wish there were a lot more good reporters in that room. I wouldn’t put Jim (Acosta) on that list, but there are some of the toughest, shrewdest journalists from around the world that sit in there and throw tough questions at you day after day. And I do appreciate the work that they do and the service they provide to the country. I just would like to see them be a little bit more fair to this President and this administration.”
“They would take anything that he said and make it as negative as possible. I witnessed that every single day and still see that even from the outside. No matter what this President does, no matter how successful he is, no matter what he accomplishes, they will find a way to attack it. And I think that is sad that most of those individuals, the liberal media elite, have decided that they hate Donald Trump more than they love our country. And I think that’s pretty disgraceful. I’m sad that we’ve gotten to that place.”
