Senator Barrasso (R-WY) Gives An Update On Next Round Of COVID Relief

Senator Barrasso (R-WY) spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson and gave an update on the discussions in Congress about the next round of COVID relief to Americans. Senator Barrasso said,

“My goal is focused completely on the disease and reopening the economy, getting people back to work and kids back to school. And we got to stop paying people more to not work then to work. You know that all on July 30 firms. That’s that bonus unemployment insurance payment that went into effect with their last Keres Act that ends. Nancy Pelosi wants to extend it till January of 2021. Six hundred dollars a week. You know, the economists look at this and said this is going to keep 10 million people out of work and sitting at home getting more money to not work than if they went to work. That has to stop.”
