Florida Senator Rick Scott joined Brian Kilmeade on his radio show and blasted blue state governors for demanding additional state and local funding from the federal government.
“These liberal governors, they don’t ever want to live within their means and they want taxpayers of other states to pay for their excesses,” he said.
Sen. Scott went to single out New York Governor Andrew Cuomo: “Cuomo, he got elected when I got elected as governor, his budget with two to three million people less living in New York than Florida was almost double mine. He was always mad at me because I would come up to New York and I’d talk to companies and say, ‘why are you paying those ridiculous taxes and dealing with that ridiculous regulation and, by the way, you’re gonna pay for all those excesses eventually with your taxes.’ And they moved and people moved and he’s still mad at me over that.”
