President Trump finished up his third G-7 summit in Biarritz, France Monday, calling it “successful”. Last year, the gathering of world leaders ended in disarray as President Trump abandoned a joint statement and had a public spat with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. While the president used this meeting to address the current trade war with China and showed a willingness to work with Iran, the allies rejected his demand that Russia be readmitted to the G-7.
