Secretary Of Energy Rick Perry spoke with Brian Kilmeade about President Trump signing two executive orders aiming to make it easier for companies to build oil and gas pipeline projects and the push back from states like New York. Perry explained how citizens of New York are being penalized by Governor Andrew Cuomo because he is out of sync with the rest of the country by blocking the implementation of natural gas pipelines that would help lower the cost of natural energy for their citizens. When asked about New York Governor Cuomo pushing back because he feels it undermines New York’s ability to protect their own environment, Perry said he thinks Governor Cuomo is cutting off his nose to spite his face on this, he doesn’t want to say ‘hey we were wrong about this fracking.’ Secretary Perry, who is also the former governor of Texas, weighed in on the democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, saying there is not a crisis at the border. Perry said, “If Nancy Pelosi doesn’t think that’s not a real crisis to people’s safety and to this country then she needs to come down to South Texas and talk to those ranchers and talk about folks that live along there and all of these people that are coming and are going to get dumped into those communities along the Rio Grande.”
