Admiral James Stavridis (Ret), former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the ramifications of putting sanctions on NATO ally Turkey over the jailing of American pastor Andrew Brunson. Stavridis believes we can put military pressure on Turkey but need to be cautious and we should take a diplomatic approach. Stavridis also discussed the latest sanctions on Russia in response to accusations Moscow used a nerve agent to poison a former Russian spy in Britain. On North Korea, Stavridis said we need to “be patient” when it comes to a timetable of getting North Korea to denuclearize, adding, “It’s going to be a three to five year process to actually denuclearize. We need to realize that’s just the reality of dealing with Kim.”
