Rep Tim Ryan (D-OH): It’s Hard For Democrats To Feel Uplifted After Being Slaughtered In Elections Over the Last 8 Years

“To be honest, its hard to be completely uplifted now as a democrat because we have gotten slaughtered all over the country over the last 8 years other than the presidency. I don’t want to get into a big therapy session here but you know we have gotten slaughtered.”

—Tim Ryan on how hard it is for democrats to feel good after losing elections over the last 8 years

Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH) spoke with Kilmeade & Friends about President Obama’s final meeting with democrats, why it’s tough for the democrat party to feel good after being “slaughtered” over the last 8 years in elections, being willing to work with President-elect Trump on draining the swamp in Washington and improving the nation’s infrastructure. However, Ryan does not think Obamacare should be repealed but is willing to sit down with democrats & republicans to look at the parts of the Affordable Care Act that have not worked and make changes.
