Donald Trump Senior Communications Advisor Jason Miller On Clinton Foundation Scandal
Jason Miller, Partner & EVP of Jamestown Associates and Senior Communications Advisor of Donald J. Trump for President, joined Kilmeade and Friends today to discuss the shift in Trump’s demeanor as of late. When Brian Kilmeade asked Miller “what happened?”, Miller responded, “We’re seeing right now a focused candidate who knows exactly what he’s doing and who wants to be president of the united states and get this country back on the right track.”
Kilmeade: Do you think Donald Trump realizes that a lot of things he said was stepping on the negativity that could’be been going in Hillary Clinton’s direction?
Miller: He tells it exactly like it is, he’s a very straight shooter and I think that’s part of the reason for the appeal. I think that’s part of the reason for why people like him so much, he’s not one of these blow-dried politicians. I mean look at Hillary, it’s now been what, 263 days since she last had a press conference? Donald Trump is taking questions from the press and from voters all the time. But look, the clarity and specificity with which Donald Trump is running his campaign right now is truly remarkable.
Miller on where Trump adviser Governor Chris Christie has been:
He’s been very helpful. Some of that’s been out in public, some of that’s been behind the scenes. I point you to last night, Governor Christie had a very, very strongly worded statement that he put out, regarding this latest AP story that you referenced, calling for the need for a special prosecutor to look into this. And going from his experience as a former U.S. attorney, what appeared to be, what looks very strongly like criminality coming out of this Clinton State Department Foundation personally profiting. At a certain point there are no lines between the two, it’s all becoming one big blurred mess and quite frankly that’s why Hillary’s in so much trouble right now.
Regarding recent reports that more than half the people outside the government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State gave money to the Clinton Foundation:
I mean this is the rigged system in Washington that Donald Trump talks about and this is exactly what’s wrong with Washington and why we need wholesale change and why we cant have Hillary Clinton. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I mean we’re still talking about these 15,000 emails that we haven’t actually received yet. I mean, I raised this this morning, where the heck are these FBI 302 notes about Hillary Clinton’s interview from a month or so back, we’re still waiting on those to be released. It’s just every day there’s some new piece of information that’s out there. Folks have to realize just how corrupt and just how crooked this Clinton administration would be.
Responding to Hillary Clinton making light of her email scandal on Jimmy Kimmel Live:
Number one rule, when you’re in a hole quit digging. That’s the thing we’re seeing with Hillary right now. We know they’re not all about yoga, they’re not all about wedding planning. We’re talking about crowned princes, we’re taking about donors and setting up meetings… They’re selling access. That’s exactly what’s going on, this is absolute government corruption. This is why Donald Trump has called for a special prosecutor. This is why respected law enforcement experts like Rudy Giuliani, like Chris Christie, like Senator Jeff Sessions, former U.S. attorneys have echoed this call.
