Indianapolis Police Chief Troy Riggs speaks at a news conference on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, following an overnight shooting in which a man allegedly fired shots into an Indianapolis police officer’s home and his patrol car. Chief Troy Riggs said the officer’s wife and child were asleep inside and the officer was awake after working a night shift when at least five bullets struck their home early Tuesday. The officer and his family were not hurt, but one of those bullets struck a window near where the officer was sitting inside. The suspect yelled obscenities against police during and after the attack. (AP Photo/Rick Callahan)
