In part two of our three-part narrative special Beyond the Controller: The World Warriors, host Eammonn Dignam uncovers the darker, stranger chapters of Capcom’s Street Fighter universe. We examine the victims of M. Bison’s Psycho Power, detailing how Shadaloo’s brainwashed Doll project created Cammy White (Killer Bee) before her escape to MI6’s Delta Red. Then, we dive into the wild arcade lore behind Jimmy–better known as Blanka–from surviving an Amazon plane crash to his heartwarming family reunion. Finally, we explore the Ansatsuken dojo split between Gouken and his brother Akuma, uncovering how the Satsui no Hado forged fighting games’ most feared martial artist and set up an eternal struggle for Ryu’s soul.
