25 Years Later: The Legacy of 9/11

Twenty-five years after the September 11th terror attacks, America pauses to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the thousands affected in the years since, and the selfless heroes who ran towards danger on one of the darkest days in US history. As ceremonies take place across Ground Zero, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, we reflect on how the tragic events unfolded in real time. FOX & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade was on the air live as the initial reports broke that a plane had struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center. He joins FOX News’ Jacqui Heinrich and looks back at those harrowing first moments on set, broadcasting live as history changed forever, and recalls heading straight into Lower Manhattan to speak with fleeing survivors and first responders responding to the crisis.

The first-ever Republican Midterm Convention has wrapped in Dallas, with night two featuring emotional moments of remembrance for the victims of 9/11 and conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Vice President JD Vance used his keynote address to make a direct appeal to voters who remain undecided or uncertain about the Republican Party heading into November. President Trump also took the stage for closing remarks and urged attendees to pledge their support for Republicans in the midterm elections. FOX News Radio correspondents Jared Halpern and Eben Brown join FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal to break down the convention and the GOP’s messaging heading into November.

PLUS, commentary by Nicole Parker, FOX News contributor and former FBI special agent.
