Evening Edition: ‘Tunnel to Towers’ Proudly Supporting America’s Heroes
Since the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001, the ‘Tunnel to Towers’ foundation has been providing mortgage-free homes to families of fallen service members and first responders while also working to combat veteran homelessness. The foundation’s core principle has always been to never forget the bravery of the nation’s heroes, and their families, that lost their lives on that day. The nonprofit’s mission was created by a man’s promise to his brother who died while trying to save others at ground zero.
FOX’s Tonya J. Powers speaks with Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of Tunnel to Towers, who shares the inspiration behind ‘Tunnel to Towers’ and the hard work they do everyday for the families of first responders.
