Evening Edition: Iranian Hackers Increase Attacks Against U.S. Infrastructure
Iranian hackers are trying to bring the conflict in the Mideast to U.S. soil. Iranian hackers have targeted America’s telecommunications, energy and other infrastructure in recent weeks, targeting internet-connected automated systems but have so far been unsuccessful. An Iranian hacker group known as ‘APT Iran’ warned the U.S. would soon see “unexpected and critical events” against these targets in a Telegram post.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with John Cofrancesco, founder and CEO of American AI Logistics, who says our advanced technologies and our reliance on them makes us more vulnerable, but adds staying vigilant against such attacks is key.
