From Washington: Sen. Rick Scott on the ‘SAVE America Act’ Standoff

President Trump has been pressing Congress to pass the ‘SAVE America Act’ for months now, but with nothing accomplished after months of verbal encouragement, he has opted for a new approach: not signing anything else until the bill is passed. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) joins The Rundown to explain why the bill is so difficult to pass, and how the President’s new strategy may impact his Republican colleagues in midterms. Senator Scott also weighs in on the possibility of another government shutdown in the near future, as well as the recent New York democratic socialist sweep.

Later, Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MN) explains the growing need to ensure our military is prepared for another conflict, and weigh in on the current Iran deal.
