Florida Republican Congressman and GOP gubernatorial candidate in the Sunshine State Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he’s pushing for more government accountability on how tax dollars are spent.
“Look, government has a responsibility to be efficient and to be mindful of the dollars. Like, you know, voters, just constituents, the people, they’re not just piggy banks for government projects and government programs. You got to be able to balance all of it and live within your means the way families have to live within their means. And too often, we have elected officials and politicians who decide that it’s okay to just spend for whatever you think is needed, regardless of the impact on the pocketbook of the American people. And that’s why you see what happened in New York and Illinois and California they really destroyed themselves and it’s upsetting to see.”
