Texas Republican Congressman Wesley Hunt joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to call out the offensive nature of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s argument that voter ID is essentially ‘Jim Crow 2.0’.
“It is a slap in the face to those people that are still alive that actually lived through Jim Crow. Jim Crow was a tough time in this country. And you know me, I always talk about the progress of this great nation and what happened in the past is the past. There are no more slaves, there are no slave owners. Jim Crow is dead. And that’s how you have politicians like me that even exist. Because I’m being judged not by the color of my skin, but by the content of my character. But when you say that somebody can’t get an ID as the equivalent to somebody sitting on the back of a bus is ridiculous.”
