Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on a few of the key principles of his gubernatorial campaign and how he would build off the success of the Sunshine State’s current governor, Ron DeSantis.
“You know, in Florida, we’re talking about a couple things. Number one, you want to keep Florida the free state of Florida. Governor DeSantis has done a great job. We’re going to keep that going. Number two, insurance. We’re gonna examine Florida’s insurance regulatory system to make sure that we’re finding every way to continue to drive down insurance costs. Number three, we want to see homestead property taxes repealed. Number four, law and order will remain the principal foundation of Florida. Number five, we want to expand our economies for our young people who are in schools right now to get great jobs. And number six, we want to modernize government and get it out of the way because we don’t want it to take two years to build a house, to get through the permitting phase. We gotta speed that up. We got to get out of way of people trying to do business, make government lean so the costs associated with government go down for people.”
