Florida Republican Congressman and GOP gubernatorial candidate in the Sunshine State Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why congressional Republicans are going to make a major push to replace Obamacare in 2026.
“He should explain why people couldn’t even keep their doctor, because that’s what he said. But the truth is, they wrote a bill with the insurance companies that favored the insurance companies. And so what President Trump is saying, what House Republicans, what we’re saying is, look, give the premium subsidies to people, let them go buy their health care in the marketplace. And also, I think what we got to do is we have to redesign the marketplace. You can’t keep the same Obama regulations and think things are going to get better. That’s just not true. That’s not how this works. You got to change the regulations, whatever subsidies do exist, put that in the hands of people, let them go make those purchase decisions for themselves, and the funny thing will happen, you might actually see prices stabilize or even come down. It’s how markets work.”
