Comedian Danny Polishchuk joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on ABC’s decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show indefinitely following comments he made on Monday night about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
“I’m quite torn on this because as you know comedians were like this and then. I don’t know it’s a weird spot, and I mean look like the show was getting canceled regardless in the summertime. Like it was over anyway, and you know there is a part of me It’s like ABC. You know this thing probably cost him 50 million dollars a year, because he makes 16 million just on his own. But, you know, he’s probably 100 million. So ABC is probably like, we save 100 million dollars and get out of this contractual obligation. It’s just not great that like the FCC kind of force the point. But then also everybody’s like free speech. But you’re like, when you have these licenses, these broadcast licenses, it’s like you don’t have free speech, there’s a million rules.”
